SKALA PR is a communications agency for classical music. Our clients include the entire spectrum of players on the international music market: soloists, ensembles, labels and event organizers.
In addition to classic press relations, the portfolio of services primarily includes project development and consulting as well as the creation of an individual, holistic and sustainable communication concept.

Birgit Niemeyer
Birgit Niemeyer, through years of experience across all areas of the music business, has not only an excellent network but also a deep understanding of the industry's requirements and needs. She is particularly passionate about thinking beyond the boundaries of the classical music world, engaging creatively with people, stories, places, works and genres, and advising young artists.
Over the years, in the Lower Saxon provinces she has held the door open for the who's who of early music, watched world-class pianists rehearse on a wobbly keyboard at Berlin's Watergate club, produced improvised video formats, designed online seminars for Finnish music professionals, and had the pleasure of driving through Liguria with one of the few surviving violas by Antonio Stradivari on her lap.

Eliana Opel
Eliana Opel studied German Studies, Musicology and Cultural Management, and gathered wide-ranging experience in the classical music sector: as an artist liaison at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, as well as in the press office and dramaturgy of the Musikfestspiele Potsdam and in public relations for the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz. For her, the most important element of successful communication work is a thoughtful, creative communication concept developed on equal footing.
Among other things, she has taught guitar at a girls' home in Hyderabad, India, copied the piano score of a Handel oratorio into the rare B4 format through a highly intricate process, driven musicians along unpaved, single-track and very steep forest roads in the Alps, devised "star-harmonic" horoscopes based on zodiac signs and the circle of fifths, and defended the curtains in Potsdam's Raphael Hall – a UNESCO World Heritage Site! – with her life, protecting them from improper touch.
