naïve was founded in Paris in 1998, and the label's only rule from the beginning was: no rules. With this strong desire for independence and eclecticism, naïve continues to meet the challenges of diversity and originality in all genres.
From Jeanne Added and Avishai Cohen, Gaël Faye and Alela Diane to Rinaldo Alessandrini, Izïa, Matthieu Herzog and Anne Gastinel, naïve's musical spectrum is now more fascinating than ever for its diversity. A special focus is the magnificent Vivaldi Edition, which has set itself the goal of recording all the works from Vivaldi's private music collection. The manuscripts are kept in the Biblioteca Nazionale in Turin, and numerous works are being recorded for the first time.
Jean-Paul Gasparian's album “Origins” is dedicated to his roots: works by Arno Babadjanian, Komitas, Aram Khatchaturian and his father Gérard Gasparian pay tribute to the figure of Sayat-Nova, an 18th century poet and singer who plays a central role in Armenian culture.
