naïve was founded in Paris in 1998, and the label's only rule from the beginning was: no rules. With this strong desire for independence and eclecticism, naïve continues to meet the challenges of diversity and originality in all genres.
From Jeanne Added and Avishai Cohen, Gaël Faye and Alela Diane to Rinaldo Alessandrini, Izïa, Matthieu Herzog and Anne Gastinel, naïve's musical spectrum is now more fascinating than ever for its diversity. A special focus is the magnificent Vivaldi Edition, which has set itself the goal of recording all the works from Vivaldi's private music collection. The manuscripts are kept in the Biblioteca Nazionale in Turin, and numerous works are being recorded for the first time.
For his fourth album for naïve, French cellist Christian-Pierre La Marca drew inspiration from the correspondence between the famous Schumann couple: “Love Letters” reflects the passion that characterized the exchange of letters between Clara and Robert—here expressed through sound rather than words.
