In 2028, the music world will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Franz Schubert's death. To mark this occasion, baritone Samuel Hasselhorn and pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz have launched the “SCHUBERT 200” project, which celebrates the great song composer in concerts and recordings.
A central component of the project is the recording of a total of five CDs of Schubert songs for Harmonia Mundi, which chronologically trace the work of the last years of Schubert's life.
The “SCHUBERT 200” project is aimed at a new generation of song audiences and addresses the question of how relevant Schubert's songs are to our lives in the 21st century and how this connection can be made audible and tangible.
