... in the music business? Horn player or artistic director of a festival.
… outside the music business? Difficult to say... I would probably get involved (perhaps even politically) in climate protection, with children or in refugee aid - or work as a therapist.
There is not the one experience, even if the filming in nature for my movie "Suites for a Suffering World" was very moving. The encounters with my teacher Heinrich Schiff and Lars Vogt definitely influenced me a lot.
… more often? What does it mean to make music? Why do we need art?
… ideally never again? "Who is your role model?" or "What is it like to have such a famous big brother?" 😊
Before: I put on my concert earring, eat a banana, then a slow rhythmic vibrato to warm up.
After: Writing home about how it was, enjoying a beer, listening to the second half of the concert and letting the music work its magic on me (at concerts with orchestra), hugging all the performers (after chamber concerts).
More time with my family, more concerts with my husband Florian Donderer, staying healthy, and that my film can be seen by many people. And above all: more common sense in society with regard to climate protection, solidarity with the weak, and the preservation of our planet as a habitable place.
